The Speaker Cabinet My Grandfather Built

I have at home a speaker cabinet that my grandfather built. It was given to me by Kaye Kalogerakis and her late husband Doctor Michael Kalogerakis, M.D.. They were part of the same Greek community in the Bronx where my grandparents lived after immigrating to the United States in the 1920s. Kaye and Mike had it in storage and around ten years ago offered it to me. SPEAKER is a video inspired by this speaker cabinet. It contains excerpts from my film FORECLOSURE.
