As we write this, Israel has intensified its targeted killings of Palestinian journalists as Israel begins its invasion of Gaza, hoping to shut down news coming out about what it is doing both in Gaza and the West Bank. Urgent action is needed internationally to widen awareness of what these journalists have given their lives to report, and to advocate for a stop to the genocide against the Palestinians that is being waged by the state of Israel. This panel will be an opportunity to hear from four media artists and social media creators as they describe their current efforts and to join with them in an exchange of ideas around what media artists and social media creators can do now to make a difference. This event coincides with the Gaza Biennale 2025.
